  It’s hard to miss eight thousand pounds of Ridgeback prowling about a crime scene, but then Kirigiri is a true enigma, and has her ways.

Kirigiri is focused to the point where she can be genuinely alarming. There is nothing - nothing - she will not do to reach her goal, and this makes her very dangerous to a great many people. Much to her friends' horror, Kirigiri takes all the attempts on her life in stride.

Due to the aforementioned danger, Kirigiri hides much of her activities from others, although she sometimes makes an exception for a friend. Her hobbies include performing autopsies, reading crime novels, and needling people she sees as being annoying or needing her guidance or both.

Kirigiri's foreclaws are always hidden by a pair of custom-made leather gloves. What exactly lies under the gloves is a matter of some speculation. The most popular theories include Shade infestation, a curse that will eventually kill her, and a pair of really embarrassing tattoos.

A detective down to the bones, Kirigiri prefers to let people draw their own conclusions. Whether this is a matter of skittishness or professionalism is yet to be seen.
