When the night air chills and the weary look for somewhere warm to rest their bones, the only place they need look is the Emerald Locust Tavern. Through its doors echo laughter, and the soft chimes of drinks being touched together in camaraderie--and Iavor, standing with a brilliant smile of greeting. This dapper gentleman is a force to be reckoned with in his own right, running the massive tavern with the help of just a few choice clan members.
Some wonder why this devoted dragon of Light would leave his homelands, and their rich opportunities...and truth be told, he often wonders this himself. And yet, the beautiful Viridian Labyrinth seemed to call to him from a young age...perhaps the thought of a challenge to be welcoming of its naturally wary denizens was simply too much to resist. In this respect, Lockwood was all too eager to help the plans for Iavor's dream come to fruition. The Fae, born of a long line of stewards to prominent politicians, truly had his time to shine in that moment. With the help of his mate Iilene, along with new friends and clan-mates, something truly beautiful began to shine within the clan's lands. Situated at the beginning of the border, at the end of a small dirt path, now sat a glorious testament to everything that the enterprising young man stood for. Since its rise, the tavern has become home to a number of clan members who wished to live a bit closer to clan borders--rather within the main cave. In exchange for their lodging, they often help out with cleaning, and making sure things should be running as they should be. Iavor would have it no other way--as he always has something for everyone to do. Luckily, this gives him time to sit and have early morning tea with Vanadev, reflecting happily through wisps of steam and the beautiful sunlight trickling in from the painted glass door and windows. |
