Borak

Leader of the The Unmentionables / Lair Expander
|
Poison/Foam/Firefly WIP -hobbies: charity work; sightseeing Borak grew up under the claws of his deity his entire life. The work in the Stormcatcher's factories are long and laborious, yet his children adore him and are happy to work themselves to the bone to please their creator. Free time is seen as unnecessary, and "frivolous" activities are frowned upon. While Borak's friends and flight were occupied with their machinery and schematics, he sought the simpler things in life. The Shifting Expanse is rather barren, truthfully, but there is still beauty to be found. Borak often took on the job of gathering scrap materials from the dessert in order to spend time exploring the flora and fauna, and gazing in awe at the twisty rock formations carved out by the wind. It wasn't uncommon for him to bring back a familiar hitchhiker either, though he was forced to release them by his parents. Borak had never been interested in learning mechanics, and was a difficult student from the start, often lost in his own daydreams. His parents were rather disappointed, but knew they couldn't force their son to do something he didn't care about, so all of the easy tasks were assigned to him. Borak's laidback lifestyle earned him leering looks from his clanmates, and jealousy from his brothers, but his sister was more understanding.
Familiar(s):
Gold-Throated Sparrow: Named Nugget [he/him]Nugget was found by Borak after he broke his wing. Instead of being eaten, the large ridgeback brought him back to his lair and nursed him back to health. Eventually the sparrow came to trust Borak, and has stayed with him since. Nugget is docile and rather perceptive. He likes perching on his master's long snout and chirping little songs to him. He doesn't understand just how Muffin can be so goofy all the time, but he accepts him for who he is. Ragamouse: Named Muffin [he/him] Borak caught Muffin stealing food from the lair, but instead of eating him, he decided to keep him - he was too cute. Now, the ragamouse is actually allowed to eat from their stash. Muffin is childish and playful. He has absolute trust in his master, so he has no trouble courting danger, like messing around with large birds of prey, for example. Scaleback: Named Durian. [she/her] Durian was actually found by Muffin during one of the ragamouse's daring adventures. What's more fun than annoying an irritable predator that can snap your neck in one bite? Nothing! But all good things must come to an end, Durian finally lost her patience and chased Muffin all the way back to his owner, who took one look at the Scaleback and thought, "This little guy is stinky and cute. They are mine now!" WIP
