Currently helping out and studying under Wasabi, a glorified chef.

Personality: ESTJ. Frank, practical, realistic. Greatly values honesty. Neither polite or very tolerant, and doesn't really value these traits in others either - however, she thinks "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" is a fair mindset. She would just prefer if others were as blunt and open with her as she is with everybody.

Unlike Wasabi, Coriander believes in the superiority of practicality and effectiveness. She would rather make a fulfilling, hearty meal that is simple - such as porridge - than make an artful taste explosion of a dish that takes days to prepare and will likely not be as fulfilling. Coriander has the power to feed the entire clan with little effort, which is what Wasabi fails at. The skydancer has been struggling to keep up with the humongous appetites of the clan, which is why eventually Coriander came to her aid.

Coriander did not have a deep love for cooking, and she enjoyed not having anything to do, but it was increasingly frustrating to see Wasabi struggle so pitifully. They did eventually bond over cooking, and Coriander's dislike of the skydancer slowly dissipated as she began appreciating and understanding her. Wasabi apparently never intended to function as the entire clan's food supply - she started out like many others, who came here to write books and teach others their respective professions. It's just that, as time went on, the skydancer found herself in the role of the mass-producer of meals, as nobody else really knew how to even make an omelette.

Coriander is still not too eager to be bossed around, or to be taught "the art of cooking", but as she learns more and more, the less she minds. She is still better at meeting the needs of their numerous clanmates - she still insists on being practical-minded, while Wasabi is still not interested in mass-producing cheap meals. But they now get along pretty well, and they accept each others differences.

Her tools of the trade, so to say, are pork ribs, ham, porridge, mashed potatoes, fried potatoes, grilled potatoes, stuffed potatoes, potato soup, potato salad, canned potatoes, pickled potatoes, rice, lettuce salads, lettuce sandwiches (a raw lettuce leaf rammed between two slices of potatoes), boiled eggs, raw eggs, egg sandwiches (an omelette rammed between two slices of potatoes), fish soup and such plain dishes. She serves a wide variety of drinks: water, iced water, water with bubbles in it, and the fanciest of them all: lemonade.
