Ask a question, any question, and it's more or less guaranteed that Anubis will concoct a riddle in return. Charming and friendly, the illusion of the bright-eyed wildclaw being anything other than a typical member of the Light Flight is usually shattered the moment somebody tries to glean any additional information from him. A standard introduction, no matter how tight-lipped, is still a freebie. Anything else must be won. It's only fair and moreover, it's fun. And like any other dragon of the Tangled Wood, Anubis does love his games. He isn't above fudging his own rules for the sake of a little more amusement at the expense of losing just a bit of his mystery.


As the owner of a particular magic shop, Anubis is surprisingly accessible for a trickster and can often be found proudly maintaining his hoard of potions, curses, and spell books. Unlike some other merchants, however, Anubis has a talent for magic. In the Tangled Wood, his natural affinity for the arts of the Obscured Crescent combined with his affiliation with light magic makes for a truly chaotic range of spells that any trickster would kill for.


Despite his comfort among the wood, though, Anubis still exhibits some of the traits normally associated with Light aligned dragons. A direction to a nice, warm shaft of sunlight is usually enough to gain his favor, however short that may be. To the despair of those who know him, the wildclaw has absolutely no problem with dropping everything for an afternoon nap in a rare sunlit patch. The cats, at least, thoroughly approve.
