Broud began life as an orphaned Imperial that ended up being hatched in an alchemist's den. Mainly so that said alchemist could have some free help to assist them during their experiments and with odd end errands. The alchemist was commissioned by Kokomo of the Royal Family to make her a unique pet. The alchemist, following the recent trend of mutations got their claws on a Bogsneak Breed change scroll, and shortly later Kokomo brought home Broud with her. Where she tossed out his old name and granted him with the title "Broud".

He remembers very little of his life from before Kokomo, and spends most of his days locked away in her private quarters awaiting her return. He gets to go out very rarely, and when he does, he is told to hide himself well until they reach the "secret place" Kokomo found. Where he is allowed to enjoy the fresh air and stretch freely without being seen.The only other dragons he has "officially" met in the clan is Mkuu, who acts awkward around him. Clearly uncomfortable for reasons Broud cannot be bothered to understand. And Clarice, the clan's head medic. She always treats him kindly and patches him up with the utmost of gentle care. She is also the one who gifted him his Maned Rasa. He sees her as something akin to a kind sister.


Broud, despite all of this adores Kokomo is is willing to throw his life down for her. She is one of the few constants in his life, and to decide to do otherwise would be facing the unknown.
