Coronated as Head of Home following Vermiculus, Tobia maintains that their word and rule is the last option in any clan decisions. They are honored by the position and the trust their found family has in them, but Tobia believes strongly that in order to keep control of oneself, one must have a claw and mind in the decisions that govern their living.

Tobia is often found in their cavern experimenting and studying, throwing strange things into a cauldron to see how they react or concocting some strange but inevitably useful potion. Weekly and monthly meetings with whoever in the clan is at home keep them busy most of their days, so they don't get as much travel time as they'd like, but the Head happily takes the opportunities of trading with returning family to live vicariously through their stories of adventure. They disappear once every two years, leaving Vermiculus once again in temporary reign, to attend what is said to be a "Very Important Worldly Meeting", though the purpose has yet to be understood in detail by the rest of clan, and many bets are placed on who the Head may be meeting with. Tobia enjoys their friendly gamble though they doubt anyone will ever discover the truth behind the many veils in place.
