Palivurn

Palivurn and Raqurnica are connected in some fundamental way. They complete each other; they belong together, and never separate. Though they are neither mates, nor related, and both were born in other clans far away, they share a love that is innocent and as playful as childhood.

The pair received their names on the same day. Though Palivurn (then known as Cobalt) had been with the clan for a fair few months before Raqurnica arrived, Ilfrilaela, the Clanmother and Giver of Names, had been unable to devise a suitable name for him. She seemed rather vexed, and fairly avoided young Cobalt. Asked about it later, she said "You'll have to forgive my delay... I just," she wrinkled her brow, "didn't understand who you were -- until she came around." The fae was grinning as he finished the Clanmother's thought. "Neither did I."
