The roads are dangerous during the colder months, as ice and snow cover the path and make any trek a cautious one. Most would not take the risk of being injured and wouldn't travel during this time. Some, however, are far too restless to not at least try and face the weather.

This is why he stands guard over the roads less traveled in winter, he with pale scales and fur. Travelers may often describe him as a mournful phantom with piercing blue eyes and a chilling voice. He wanders the dangerous paths, calling out warning after warning to each dragon he comes across.

To some, he is a demon trying to trick them.

To others, he is simply a lost ghost who died on the roads.

No one knows the truth of the Forgotten spirit, but almost all will agree that somewhere on that desolate, ice covered road he died. Perhaps his body is still there, buried now under years of dirt and snow and ice. Perhaps that is why he has yet to move on, why he warns others of the danger - to keep the living from joining his hell.

The Forgotten is a mournful, somber, quiet creature who prefers to be alone at all times of the day. He is not dead - not quite - but he is not living either. He is something in between, something undying and immortal, something monstrous and horrid.

He still isn't sure why he decided to stay with the Poisoned Clan, or why he even bothers with speaking to any of them. He will eventually outlive all of them, watch them draw their last breath while he stayed breathing.

It's enough to drive a dragon mad.

Still, The Forgotten makes the trek every winter to the icy roads and pathways, warning dragons of the danger ahead, of the ice underfoot and of the conditions that would cause death if they continued. He warns of storms as well, and despite his unnatural attachment to fall and winter he will always warn of danger in the spring and summer as well.
