jeongnam || architect ||

To construct a real home without an architect would be horrible, wouldn't it? Who was going to calculate all the important measurements and all the other stuff that had to be correct so that none of the caves and tunnels would give in and crush a dragon underneath them? Nobody would want a scenario like this one, so of course the clan was fast to get a trustworthy architect to be part of the clan. Most of the time, planning new rooms and tunnels begins rather spontanously though since Jeongnam seldom plans out rooms when there is no space to build them. In consequence, he usually waits for Naoki to explore another tunnel or room so they could begin building it and using it for the clan's dragons and needs. His drafts are very elegant but at the same time practical and ensure to let the rooms fit into their surroundings nicely. So far, there never have been mis-calculations and Jeongnam is indeed a bit proud of that. He still tries to improve though and his plan is to rebuilt the whole lair one day. But no one knows of that yet.

Although Jeongnam entered this clan as a Hatchling, he didn't do it in the traditional way. He wasn't picked up by Cheonsa from his old clan - to be honest, he wasn't really picked up by anyone really. Instead, someone had abandoned him - or maybe dropped him - somewhere along the Shattered Plain where he wouldn't have been able to survive longer than a day on his own. Luckily, it was a terrain rather close to the clan's territory and Celyn found him while walking all the familiars. The small little hatchling had been dehydrated, starved and there also had been wounds on his neck and his arms, which needed some healing before he'd be able to explain to them why he had been laying there. When he was fully recovered, he really didn't want to talk about it at all, he just wanted to cover himself up in some apparel so nobody would ever recognize the scars they had left on him... He hasn't really told anyone besides Basil yet, but he actually had been kidnapped by the Beastclans before they realized he was not important enough to keep him and so they left him alone to die. He had been really lucky to be found and Jeongnam knows this - he is still very grateful towards Celyn and the familiars who helped rescuing him. To overcome this trauma, he buried himself in work as soon as he was able to: Architecture had been a long dream of his and after all the clan had done for him he would be able to repay them like this.
