Invidia is, without a doubt, one of the more dangerous dragons in the clan. It's easy to mistake him for being preferable to the rest - the pale pearlcatcher is ceaselessly polite, and while his smile spreads like an oilslick... it's still a smile. Make no mistake, Invidia entirely lacks morals whatsoever and when asked what he does - his response is a beatific smile and a hungry, "I kill." Born of Myansi - none of the clan knew he'd truly survived. His and his brother's eggs had rolled from the nest before the hatchdate, and the last anyone saw of the eggs was them sinking into the depths of the Leviathan Trench. Over a year later, Invidia came swimming up from the depths alone. He set off immediately, seeking to make a name for himself. The clan told him he'd be welcome to return, if he ever did. Invidia doubted he ever would. |

Invidia's weapon of choice is own combustive body, paired with a healing factor so intense that rumor has it he's immortal. Who needs a weapon when all he need do is touch someone, after all? There's a reason he wears gloves most of the time. His singing voice is addictive, claiming, stealing away focus. He only ever sings in minor key, and constantly makes noise. Humming, whistling, singing - if the area around him isn't making noise, he is. The relationship with Conceal - Invidia says it is what it is. Pressing for details earns a too eager offer to turn the asker into a bomb with a random fuse, so perhaps it's best not to ask. Invidia came back to Myansi because it was all he could think of to go, after getting out of what he says - helpfully vague - was a prison of some sort. It doesn't matter, Invidia purrs. The place no longer exists. |
