Aethelinda is revered as a wise peace-keeper for the clan. She was abused as a hatchling during a beastclan raid on her Water Flight, during which her tounge was cut out. She is therefore mute, and has since learned to communicate with others telepathically. She is also known to give, "the look," to those who engage in petty arguements, ceasing the quarrel almost instantly.

This dragon tends to be an observer, and would rather not invest herself in the drama of others. Yet she is kind-hearted, and cares for her familiar, Noctus; a sour-puss, wildwood owl with an injured wing, that often causes him to fly in circles.

She has also recently adopted a Sunspot Clouddancer named Ares into her care, who enjoys vying for Aethelinda's attention and often trails her wherever she goes.
