That's what they are saying!

Eye of Truth has no gender, being the incarnation of an ancient artifact. Despite having powerful clairvoyance, it is more or less helpless by itself.

Eye of Truth is completely loyal to Sheikah, who it considers its master. Sheikah will protect Eye of Truth at any cost but might actually be less loyal to it than it is to her. While she feels more strongly about Eye of Truth than any other dragon, she will still speak to others or go off by herself. Eye of Truth is not good about her leaving, having intense separation anxiety. But, one might suppose that's natural after having been usurped for evil a few too many times...
