Zephyrus had much trouble remembering his early days. Sometimes it felt as if there was something missing, a piece of the puzzle long ago lost. For reasons he has yet to uncover, the early memory he possesses is of gazing upon the beauty of the Windswept Plateau for what he swears felt like the very first time. For days he wandered the fields and observed the chattering, happy dragons that called this place home. They would often be carrying little trinkets and colorful pinwheels, especially the hatchlings. There was a near constant song in the air here, comprised of all the dragon-voices carried on the wind, that he found very peaceful and pleasing to his soul. As he traveled higher up the Plateau, he found even more dragons, some he had never before seen, and some of his own kind feverishly building large sap nests to help provide for their rapidly growing families.

Under one of the many outcroppings covered in bamboo-like reeds, he spied a female Tundra dragon also observing the landscape. Even though she seemed lost in deep thought, he felt the urge to reach out and talk to her. As they spoke, at first exchanging pleasantries about the warm cloudless weather, then moving on to names and such, the two dragons realized they had a peculiar commonality - Neither of them could remember anything beyond their arrival at the Windswept Plateau.

Zephyrus and his new friend - Sefirina - together decided that they must not be the only dragons suffering from such memory-loss, and vowed to find out more about their past. Together they formed their own clan and today take in any dragon they find that is looking for a safe lair to call home. All the while on the look out for more dragons like them so they may find answers.
