"Arioch" : Demon of vengeance. He delivers vengeance only when called on.
"The Exiled King"
Lost and Cast-out - He roamed until his demise - He now roams under the moon; a shadow of his former self.
I used to be a king you know...all proud and powerful - I knew not fear, not sorrow, if it were something dark and sinister? I was the first to stand and end it with the strength of my will. Nothing could escape my gaze, my kingdom proud and bright, flourishing under my mighty wings...at least...until they came.
Slowly, helplessly, I watched my kingdom slowly fall to monsters of dark, of shade; beasts with hunger that made the ocean seem small in their wake. Each day the deaths rose...each day my kingdom crumbled more...and it was all pointed to me. The only light came from a wonderful, ghost-light female...a brilliant obsidian color to her scales which made her belly glow brighter than the sun my kingdom was starting to forget. No one else could see her though...a ghost...a specter of something long forgotten...
For awhile, everything seemed to be healing...less people died...less people were vanishing - but the joy came far too soon...the dark returned - tearing apart all that I loved...all that I had tried to defend...
I got up after it all...alas my Kingdom fell, the ruins of its splendor lie untouched, alone and forgotten at the bottom of the world. I took that evil...and I devoured it, totally and utterly, roaming lost until my heart gave out...at the price of my life, and my reality, everyone was safe. At least now...you are all safe, my new home here with these other outcasts is protected...although not my kingdom, it is ruled by a monster who seeks nothing but the safety of those with no home or kin...and with that I can be happy.
Now I roam, a ghost at peace, at the side of my ghost light queen. A shadow of my former self under a different moon...a white moon...but a King of Ghosts, the Shadow of the Old King who failed.
