Sutekh

Discovered as a lonely egg tumbling through Plague territory, Sutekh was picked up and carried to the warm lava flows of the Flamecaller's domain. There, he was cared for until he hatched, warmed by the vents that flow through the clan's territory. The most common theory is that Sutekh's parents were killed, as he seems to dream of other dragons screaming in terror. However, despite those haunting dreams, Sutekh is a rather kind and caring dragon that prefers to avoid bloodshed.

Sutekh often is seen accompanying Tanja, listening to her murmurs and tolerating her endless rambling. Despite what some of the other dragons say, he insists that Tanja is anything but crazy. In fact, he's been able to interpret some of her dreams and visions with surprising accuracy. On more than one occasion, he's been able to interpret Tanja's mumbling as a warning for the clan. Sutekh is also one of the few dragons who can calm her terrified thrashing when a vision manifests itself as a dream.

Despite being Tanja's constant companion, Sutekh sometimes finds himself longing for a mate who can understand his choice to watch over Tanja and protect her. Having experienced the loneliness as well, he doesn't wish for Tanja to feel that way, even if she doesn't notice the other dragons.
