Y7gG8WR.jpg A dragon, caked in dirt, emerges from a hole in the side of a hill. Immediately after shaking mud off onto a few of his startled clanmates, he trots up to the clan leader's house-hole.
"Smoilax," he bellows, "Oi've finished ye' restaurant cave!"
The leader sticks his head out, a grin on his face.
"Already? Pewter! Good job!"
The two dragons gallop across the clearing to inspect Pewter's work, with occasional remarks of admiration from Smilax and flattered noises from Pewter.

Pewter may not look like much at first. In fact, you may mistake him for a rock due to the dirt caking his dull scales. Pewter likes it when people mistake him for a rock, almost as much as he likes digging. This dragon's always got his head stuck in a hole, digging merrily away.

When he came to the clan, he was perceived by some to be a nuisance because he was always digging in their front yards. Then they all realized that they didn't actually have any front yards, because there really weren't any houses around in the camp clearing; none of them had any real building skills. Smilax killed two birds with one stone dragon, and gave Pewter's digging habits direction. He now happily digs holes in the sides of the small hills around the clearing, emptying them enough for a dragon to live comfortably inside.
