archer/hunter. small, lithe, and armed with lightning-fast reflexes, marigold is an expert sniper. his mind is always running background calculations on how fast he can end a situation or turn it around; he lives in a near-constant state of fight or flight, and is ready to handle whatever may be thrown at him. his bow is his best companion, and he is rarely, if ever, seen without it. marigold doesn't like to talk to others often - his instincts deem them too untrustworthy and he can never get comfortable. as such, whever he settles in a clan he takes on a quiet position of long-range scout or sniper guard. he prefers being able to get the first shot on any dangers, and to be out of range if things end up getting ugly. besides, being alone in a snipers nest means there's no one to stress about talking to. despite his loner inclinations, marigold is kind at heart -- it just takes a lot of coaxing and comforting to see it firsthand.
since settling in ilysiad, marigold has taken his selective likings to only a handful of dragons - octavia, for her quiet domesticity; ella, for her humor and scouting company; and ezra, for his similar awkwardness in conversation.
