Milo

Milo is the result of one of potion maker Dolce's most ambitious experiments. He was born not a dragon, but a familiar. A simple ragamouse who'd wandered into the Coven's kitchen to scavenge any scraps he could find. It is currently unknown to everyone but Dolce themself just how they managed to both transform the creature and grant it sentience, and if it was a happy accident or if they could do it again. All the coven knows is that they now have a new young witch to care for, as the process, whatever it was, imbued Milo's body with a fairly weak magic of his own.

Currently living out in the marshlands with Dolce and fellow experiment, Nessa, Milo is starting to adjust to his new life and body. As one would expect of a creature suddenly gifted with intelligence, he's extremely curious, but a life of living in fear of creatures bigger than him has left him fearful and awkward around most other dragons. Other than the two he lives with, the only dragon he feels completely safe around is Marble, the familiar tamer, whom he often visits on her ranch.

Under the guidance of Dolce, Milo has picked up a love for mixing potions of his own. He claims to be working on an elixir to help soothe his anxieties, but anyone who's tried to agrees it tastes suspiciously like a good cup of herbal tea.
