Tethys isn't a ray of sunshine. Her time in the factory has molded her into a cruel and bitter dragon who wants nothing to do with anyone around her. The younger dragons are scared of her and almost no dragon wants to work with her on the line, which is fine by her.
Revolution understands her, and doesn't bother her with anything. But he knows that she wants to get out and go back to where she came from, so he makes sure that she's kept up to date with the news of his plans.
Deep down, she really does care for the dragons around her, but she doesn't want to get attached or make friends. They may be gone in an instant, and she doesn't want to get caught up in any sort of emotional battle which could endanger her own life.
