______ Mathe is far from being respectable, but his skills ensure his position in the clan. He was contracted by Matrona, who felt a strange connection to him, while he is skilled in medicinal plants, Matrona bests him in spiritual power, and he makes up for this in his capabilities as an assassin. He protects Matrona and in return they share their discoveries.

______ Mathe might be a major pain to most, but hes far more thoughtful than most realize. He agreed to come to the clan when Matrone requested, who could tell a small child with big dreams no? Alas Matrona has no clue that this man is her father, for he left the lair before she was born. While it has been some time after this, the only ones to know of Mathes true past are Malken and Rue. Rue in particular used to be close friends with Mathe, till the day he left without a word.

______ Lacking in tact, Mathe often does the clans undercover dirty work. However when hes not knocking people off bridges, he spends time teaching Matrona and her brother Velonus many facts about the dangerous flora in the world.
