A fire dragon with incredibly strong magic, a cloud of ash clings to her scales wherever she goes. The pages of her books and the edges of her clothes are always singed. Her skin radiates an intense warmth, and although she's born of fire, she is not immune to accidentally burning herself. Because of this, she's become close to Ivette, whose medicinal salves have become useful for Lyra's occasional mishap.

In the Labyrinth, Lyra has found work as a firetender, a dragon who oversees forest fires, preventing them from burning too wildly out of control or starting them if need be. Her wild and powerful magic is suited to such natural fires. It is why, in her daily life, her magic seems to spill out - she's so used to commanding acres of flames, it is hard for her to completely dial back that power.
