Valen

Lore: Valen was born into a Plague clan under Nightshade's vicious rule. He initially felt proud to be a Plague Ridgeback like Nightshade, but he grew to hate his half-blood heritage, as his father was a Skydancer. Both his parents despised Nightshade's cruel rule, and took their first opportunity to escape, taking Valen with them. Valen's parents chose to join the Plague Elemental Army, but knew they needed to take Valen somewhere to shelter from Nightshade and his vicious followers, who hated half-blood dragons. They fled to the Ashfall Waste and took shelter in Storm Clan, who they learned took care of dragons fleeing from Nightshade. They chose to leave Valen in the clan's care before fleeing to join the Army. Valen learned of this and was furious. He calmed down after hearing the stories of how being half-blooded caused trouble for fellow clanmates Mosley and Viren. He still dislikes his parents' flight and decision to leave him in a strange clan, but is coming to terms with the trouble caused by him being a half-blood.
