Diver

Diver was originally a normal dragon named Artha, attempting to live peacefully and raise a family. She had found the perfect lair with a vast meadow and cozy cave underneath a cliff. Everything was going perfect. Diver only needed to find a suitable mate.

Then her world was turned upside down.

A stray plague dragon went on a rampage through her meadow, spreading disease and destroying the cave. Enraged by her dream being tarnished, Diver fought the plague dragon ferociously. She had no chance of winning the battle and lost with a lethal wound. Glee with victory, the plague dragon screeched and flew away.

Diver survived the encounter, but was infected with a disease that rendered her infertile, completely demolishing her dream to create a family. She went insane from depression, basically becoming what destroyed her life. Diver was the name given to her as many of her victims were attacked with an initial dive.

Then she attempted to attack Aerexi. Diver flew down towards Aerexi, as she usually did, but things did not end in the usual way. Aerexi snatched her out of the sky and took Diver prisoner. She inquired as to why she attacked this way. Diver spit in Aerexi's face. Every day she asked again and again. Diver was kept fed and sheltered, but it was months until she answered any questions.

Aerexi understood Diver's pain and urged her to consider taking a calmer approach. She welcomed the now plague dragon to the clan and be a part of her family. Overjoyed, Diver accepted and began anew.
