Biography
Arcane Priest
Joined Clan Diamond Dust 9/25, Born 1st Day of Starfall Festival '16 in Clan Nepkitty (#258093)
- Changed to Fae from Snapper 9/29/16
Name given by birth clan: USAGE: Astronomy, Portuguese (Brazilian). Means "the flyer" in Arabic. This is the name of a star in the constellation Aquila.
The flight ambassadors (priestesses) of the clan were responsible for advising clan leaders on issues related to their homeland and greeting visitors from clans living there. The role of the priest was not to be a liaison to visitors and other clans. Instead, the priest would serve as a representative for the permanent clan members, bringing their issues to clan leadership and ensuring that their needs were met. Now that the clan was so large, this function was thought to be necessary to make sure no issues slipped through the cracks.
Permanent Arcane Clan Members: 10 (As of 5/20/17)
Arcane dragons weren't too much trouble in the clan - the very serious leader of the guards was from Arcane, as was the Mire fighter, so they were usually busy in the field. The clan chef was from Arcane, so his experiments were confined to the kitchen. The Elder dragons were off doing their own thing and didn't approach Altair all that much - he was privately concerned about the activities of Ezreal, but didn't have any proof, just vague suspicions. Arcane dragons typically fit pretty well into the clan and seemed to adapt to the cold just fine. As a result, Altair generally didn't have much to do.

Altair has an interest in the stars and often goes out to stargaze with Wishspell, as they share the same hobby. He usually keeps a low profile so the clan leaders realize that he doesn't have much work to do... although would certainly be willing to pick up a "second job" in the clan if he could find something to do. He also experiements with magic "parlor tricks" for the hatchlings and enjoys trying new dishes from Chess. Altair might even consider collaborating with him to add a magic spin to some of the recipes.
