No one really knows where Optimus is from, as he doesn’t talk much about his past, but he has been an indispensible addition to the clan. A young dragon, he fulfills the role of the clan historian (for history is his passion, and there is nothing that excites him more than learning about and from the past), spending his time in the library reading, writing, and taking notes. He has also been known to go out on patrol to secure the borders against enemies, and is an exceptionally good mediator for conflicts of the inter and intra-clan varieties. In times of strife and battle, this unassuming young dragon often steps up to rally the clan, and he is regarded as a fine young leader with a knack for tactics and a strong sense of right and wrong - but Optimus much prefers his role in the library to a role in the spotlight, arguably making him one of the best candidates for leadership.
