"Where did it come from?"
"I don't know? We were out hunting in the Rainsong when we found the little one."
It was a cacophony of voices, all muted from the inside of the shell. She could hear them. She was ready to come forth and greet them. They had found her. They had SAVED her and she didn't even know what they looked like. She shifts against the confined space. She hears a gasp from the outside, followed by giddy laughter and an exclamation that it was hatching! They all lean in, eyes glistening with curiosity as the shell began to splinter and crack.
A piece pops off and a little chunky foot kicks through. Valkin laughs delightedly as a little head pops out next. He doesn't seem bothered in the slightest that this little dragon was SO new. The Imperial leans down to nuzzle his snout against her little head, breathing deep and feeling that fatherly warmth and love settle in his chest.
"What are you gonna name her?" The voice of Aleron speaks. With another loving sigh, Valkin turns to face his gaggle of onlookers.
"Lucina."

*Lucina is a very calm one. Although she is
not the oldest in the clan, she has the mind of a mature
adult, often being cautious and the voice of reason in the
clan. She believes natural cures work best, rather than
using some spells to simply wash the pain away. She's very
good at what she does and with her mate, Tallis, at her side,
they can cure anything!
