Free to do as they pleased, the Sunguard initially enjoyed their newfound freedom. However, many clans were hostile towards them due to their past, Sunchaser especially. As the only publicly known member of the group, it wasn't hard to figure out that the dragons she traveled with also belonged to the Sunguard. To avoid the stigma of being seen with her, most of the Sunguard left to go their own separate ways, away from their once beloved leader. The only one who remained was her mate, Corona. Seemingly alone in a world that was hostile towards them, Sunchaser and Corona had no backup plans. Fortunately, one of the still-sympathetic ex-Sunguards sent them a scroll detailing the location and philosophy of Clan Valtinne. Sunchaser got into contact with Andaulis personally, and requested asylum in the Cloudscrape Crags, far away from the prying eyes of Sornieth. After a brief meeting, the two were accepted into Clan Valtinne, under the agreement that Sunchaser and Corona take up crafts that were not related to spying, infiltrating, or anything of the sort. ________________________________________ |
