and it's almost as though you'd never sorted out an ending
so here it goes again - after a wasted wait, tomorrow she will leave.
so what happens now?
like a blurry revelation, lines you'd never noticed in the sky,
withholding love in hesitation as though you'd run in fear
without a pause to question why.
she'd laid out an invitation into your own imagination,
a coloring book left open for everyone else's interpretation
regardless, minutes changed in paisley ways, recurring visions burning,
empty pages filled so easily by all your wondrous yearning,
and you wanna scream,
"Change these days, lady!
We could all change our ways, baby!"
But she's gonna go anyway.

Stargazer came before the ground had ever been touched by Trinket and his mate. She had predicted it so, waited in darkness as he begun to carve out this clan. She predicted the coming of Kizerin, and predicted how his twisted story ends while he quivered in fear of his own demise. She told of the Queens and Kings passing through before they had even been born.
She knows everything before it happens, every life line twisting among each other. She can't see the present world, only the future. She says that the stars show her the true path of every dragon, every creature, every life. They speak to her, like an old friend returning the favor.
She stopped sharing her prophecies with others as she realized they would succumb to desperation in order to change their fate. The most she ever shares is the quiet whispers to Trinket to warn of a new presence making their way to their lair. She doesn't see the other members of the clan. She doesn't speak directly to them either. When others try she simply turns away. It's rare to even see her, as she's almost completely nocturnal.
She's sleek as she is dark, her whole body shimmering with scales. Her pearl is the most iridescent, made of the memories of everyone else. She rarely includes her own dreams to her pearls. It had never been her job to document her life, but instead document the lives of everyone else.
It wasn't until Sheo appeared that Stargazer even turned her attention away from the stars for any period longer than a moment. When the dream hit her, Stargazer added a single layer to her pearl, and she lied in wait.
She fell for Sheo when she least expected it, having already predicted it, but never realizing that it was destined to become true. She cares for Sheo as best she can, despite her lack of vision.
