Biography
R E A G A N
"Reagan? What kind of a name is Reagan?" Finnegan laughed, poking at the slightly larger dragon than himself.
"Reagan means 'little ruler' just to let you know," she replied, lifting her head up and starting to walk away from the smaller bogsneak.
Finnegan immediately followed, interested in the female, whether it was just to pester her or just to talk to her. "'Little ruler', huh? That's why you wear all those fake golden silks?" He chuckled again.
Reagan stopped right in her tracks, "Excuse me? You think these silks are fake?" She snapped at him. "If you ever so dare to call anything of mine or even myself fake I'm gonna-"
"You'll what?" Finnegan cut her off. He seemed to like to bother her.
"I'll... I'll-" Reagan didn't have any words. She looked him in the eyes and gave a dirty look.
Quickly turning around, she felt flustered. How could she let a dragon like this one get to her bad side? She's better than that. She shouldn't have to deal with this. She hasn't been here for a full day yet in this new clan and she's letting someone bother her. She just needed some time to herself and had to go watch the ocean waves to clear her mind. Little did she know Finnegan was still following her.
Once she got to the edge of the giant, frozen piece of land they were on, the smell of the fresh air helped clear Reagan's mind - until Finnegan's voice popped up behind her.
"So, you like the water?" he questioned, sitting next to the blue dragon.
Reagan raised her head and closed her eyes, "I just like to get away at times."
Finnegan was quiet for a moment and watched the waves. He looked over at Reagan to see her with her head down. "What's wrong?"
Quietly, Reagan answered, "Do you ever think of where you came from?"
"Wait, what do you mean?" Finnegan was confused on where this came from.
"Do you ever wonder? Do you ever think about where you're really from? We're both obviously not from this area. There has to be more than just a giant piece of ice and a body of water here on this world. It's as if everyone from this clan is really from somewhere else. But where are we from?"
Finnegan didn't know how to answer. "Well, all I know is I've been here for as long as I remember. From what I understand, Taiga and Millicent found me while I was still in an egg and brought me home."
This whole new side of Reagan was so different than what Finnegan had just seen back at the den. He did not expect someone like her would be so curious of the world they were in. She was going too deep in her mind to try to get answers neither of them have.
"Maybe some things aren't meant to have answers," Finnegan said, getting more quiet towards the end of his sentence.
Reagan stared down at the ground, playing with her claws. "Maybe we should go back for the day."
Finnegan seemed to light up, "Yeah, it's starting to get dark."
The two bogsneaks then walked home side by side, not saying a single word to the other. Maybe it truly is better if some things don't have answers.
