Found badly wounded in the wilderness, Ransom was led to the Fluorescent caverns by a worried- and infatuated- Dion. The wounds kept him sprawled on the floor of the caverns for weeks, in and out of consciousness, but the damage would have killed a lesser dragon. Once he was well his true personality began to shine through, showing aggression akin to the Plaguebringer herself. It was days later, while the male was still recovering, that the male began sparring with the clans warriors. Few of them could hold their own against him, and it was a mere month before Strass put him in charge of training his warriors.

Luckily for the clan, Ransom is greatly thankful to the clan for assisting him in his time of need. He remains quiet on his life before the clan, and many believe his name is not the one he was given at birth, nor was he born a bogsneak. There is no way of knowing without asking, however, and he seems to have no intention of telling.
