Ellan Youngest Prince Empathetic | Excitable | Naive Pele was born on the Windswept Plateau to a caring father who was left three eggs by a mother who was busy and adventurous and not willing to be tied down. Longing for the same thing since she was tiny, as soon as she was old enough Pele set out with a smile and a wave to track down her mother and meet her. And she found her, for the most part. An ambassador living in a large ice clan. While Agni was pleased to see her daughter, Pele still didn't feel quite fulfilled. That is, until she walked into the blacksmith shop of the same small ice clan and was met by a brilliant coatl working there who, seeing Pele's long face, showed her what he was working on: a sword. Pele was instantly smitten - not with the dragon, but with the work. Bladework was something she found that she was passionate about and interested in and suddenly the thing that was missing her entire life just - slotted into place. Thankfully, Crimson the Blacksmith was more than willing to take her under his wing and allow her space in his workshop. At the end of the day, she came looking for her mother. She ended up staying because found a place where she fit, even if that didn't end up being by her mother's side. |

 Mother |
Pele spent a large portion of her childhood wondering about her absent mother, and made it her eventual mission to find her. Even though she did eventually track her down and ended up staying with her mother's clan, she didn't stay because of her. While the two are on friendly terms and see each other often, they're still closer to strangers to one another than they are family. Even so, neither see much need to change that. They both have their own lives, and they're okay with that. |
 Father | Meeting Eldergleam was the best moment of Pele's life. Eldergleam adds a bit of calmness to Pele's life, and she's also not afraid to cuddle even when Pele is covered in ash and smoke from her work. Eldergleam is the absolute love of Pele's life and she honestly can't imagine how she survived for so long without even knowing she existed. It's a puzzle that Pele is more than willing to discard in favor of daydreaming about her girlfriend and thinking up ways to express her love. |
 Uncle | Crimson was the dragon who took Pele under his wing when she first came to the clan. He's the reason Pele found her true calling and passion, and was the one willing to hold her hand and walk through everything with her. Pele considers him more than a mentor to her, and almost considers him to be a second father to her. Certainly she's closer to him and values his input even more highly than even dragons she shares blood with. |
 Mate | Pele and Alexei have somewhat of a rivalry. Pele is a swordsmith and often teases Alexei about his more delicate craft while swinging around molten metals with laughter, while Alexei calls her a brute who wouldn't know delicacy if it hit her in the face. Despite this, both do have a healthy respect for how skilled the other is at their craft even if their personalities do grate against one another. They often share workspace with the blacksmith, Crimson, who is gruffly fond of them both. |
