Biography

Octocorallia is a subclass of Anthozoa, the class which contains all marine animals known as coral. Octocorallia includes soft corals, sea pens, sea fans and sea whips - the "sinewy" corals, like the serpentine body of the Imperial breed - as well as blue corals, which form a massive skeleton similar to rock corals. This class does not include the famous red coral, but does include other vibrant pink corals.
