B I O G R A P H Y

Unlike most Fae, Snake grew up not in a orb spun with magic and tree sap, but alone in the harsh world of the Plaguebringer. He was born as the single surviving egg in a rotting nest, to a clan that had been swept away by a Sickness, leaving only decay and abandon in its wake.

He survived on scavenged insects and using his small stature to hide himself from predators. He himself became a scavenger of sorts. Following the path of destruction that the Sickness left, he found the remnants of other clans like his own. He learned from the scattered bits of the lives that once were and traveled this way for many years. From each of these homes, wrecked by death, he took a small reminder and kept them with him on his journeys.

His wandering wings eventually took him to cleaner air, but the few he met were just as unsavory. Snake snuck through the Tangled Wood, stumbling upon his magic when attacked by a rouge thief. He managed to chase the purple Fae off, but at the cost of one of his most precious of treasures; a unicorn necklace he had found on the body of his mother.

In his hunt for the mysterious thief, Snake stumbled his way out of the Tangled Wood and found a lair of dragons living on the edge of the Viridian Labyrinth. It was here that Snake met the first peaceful dragons in his life. They welcomed him with open arms and,
after a while, the plague-born Fae began to trust these sunny characters. They were magic users as well, and from them, he learned how to harness his abilities. His affinity lied with healing magic, and with their help, Sneak began training under the wing of the unnamed clan's healer.

One night, Snake awoke to find a shadow sneaking through the clan. After some careful sneaking of his own, he discovered none other than the thief from before! But before he could respond, the purple Fae whispered a spell and blackness overtook him. When he woke, he was far away, back where the trees and foliage were covered in spines and toxin; the Tangled Wood. There was no escape, the thief, who he came to know as Spider, made sure of that. "Not until you heal me," she said, "Never before have I seen a healer quite like you." But her ailment was not something that could be simply healed, not by mortal magic.

Spider was not one to give up so easily, however. With the promise of the safe return of his mother's necklace, Spider convinced Snake to travel with her in search of a cure for her curse. They traveled together for many years, and the two have gone from unlikely friends to loyal companions who refuse to live without the other.

_PERSONALITY_

____Snake is a loner who prefers observiing those around him from a safe distance. He is distrustful of strangers and makes few friends. Those few he keeps close are the world to him and losing them is his biggest fear.

____He is a quick learner and skilled in healing both by magic and through herbs. Snake is an expert with poisons and can easily transmute them into handy healing potions. While he carries the ability to use battle magic, he rarely does so. He is a pacifist by nature and will only fight if needed. More often than not you can find him burying the dead after a battle or even healing the enemy.

____Snake has an unconventional notion about death. To him, death is a gift given to those who suffer. It is not something to fear or to hate, but to be thankful for. Many dragons have come to him, or he to them in some cases, for this gift. He mixes a draft of deadly poison that helps a dragon slip away painlessly.

_FUTURE PLANS_

____My plans for Snake mainly include a Nuzlocke that takes place during his travels as an adolescent. Perhaps change his back story depending on how that unfolds. Having him go from one devistated clan to the next, scavenging,
preserving what he can of the dragons who lived there. Later on, after his training, he could do the same, traveling and offering his healing abilities.

____The relationship between him and Spider would be different, I think. He would meet her as an easy victim for her theft and still become a goal for him, getting back his mother's necklace and all that. But I don't think the two would travel together until much later.

____I don't know. Spider's character is too up in the air right now. I've got two conflicting stories and am not too sure on how to mush them together, you know?

____His Nuzlocke will go here when I finally get around to doing it, lol.
