Matumaini is the rival of the clanleader. She is trying to take over the clan from the inside and schemes with other dragons under the cover of democracy. Fluffy however keeps her around instead of exiling her, mostly because Matumaini is a useful tool for Fluffy to find out what other dragons in the clan are worried about. Siegmeyer is her right hand man.

Malorie is Matumaini's maren ally. Having the maren behind her empowers Matumaini to be more couragous in her challenging of Fluffy.
