Aquis
Water Ambassador Theme
Focused || Confident || Introvert
She was born in the depths of a crevice in the Water Flight. Alone except for the marine life and a water sprite, Aquis didn't see many other dragons. Most of her time was spent listening to the whispers of news brought along by marens travelling the currents. She left them to be and they left her. The only true friends she made, as sad as more extroverted dragons might find it, were the fish. Of course, they couldn't actually speak back, but she did learn how to hunt and survive by mimicking their actions. Soon however, her birth place began feeling too tight. Her body outgrowing the narrow walls and forcing her to leave the safety. Something else was pulling her closer to the surface as well. A voice. An inner calling. Aquis wasn't afraid of what she'd find up there, she knew how to take care of herself. However, the shallows were much more colorful than her abyssal world. Reefs, tropical fish, and all sorts of dragons assaulted her senses. There was so many new things to explore and learn about. The only remains of her previous home were her memories and sprite, who continued to travel with her as a companion. She liked to stay on the edges of clan territory, avoiding most dragons even after growing used to the busy world. Still, there was a pull to keep going... somewhere above the water, beyond the surface where the waves battered the land. So she left. Her home was far behind her and she found herself in Plague. The beaches covered in red sand and that sand continued far off into the distance. A desert was very different than her watery origins and Aquis found the place was even less hospitable. At times, she considered turning back, convinced she'd die should she keep going. Each time the feeling pulled her back in the direction of Plague's heart. She soon became driven to follow through with this pull, searching high and low on her journey for whatever she was being pulled towards. And then the feeling stopped when she discovered the Clan of Death. Her quiet demeanor and drive to survive helped her fit in immediately, although she still felt restless. There was something missing. Something she had to do. Travel. That was her calling. She became their Water Ambassador. A dragon meant to keep the peace between their clan and the Water Flight. Being a messenger who's job was to interact with others seemed odd, however the missing piece finally seemed to settle into place as she took up the duties. She'd found her calling and she wasn't going to fail at it. Plague and Water weren't too different. Both elements could mold and adapt to whatever they were placed in. She could represent both parties with that in mind. Bio by @DeathSpecter |
