- - - A fae for clan cook may not have been the best choice.

- - - Some dragons grumble over dinner that they suspect Amethytic is just biased towards faes--though in reality he simply invited the first cook he found. And it's not that Citcritrane is a bad cook. She works with efficiency, experience, and attention to detail, being so precise as to control her own cooking fires with her own conjured blazes. But, to some members of the clan, her portions are microscopic.

- - - She's a fraction of the size of most of the others. She works hard to make up for this fact, struggling with larger pots to make bigger servings, but this often leads to more accidents and no food for the hungry clan members. While only the especially cantankerous dragons confront her about it--most of them will simply go get their own food elsewhere--Citcritrane is acutely aware of the problem and scared to lose her job.

- - - She doesn't look through her own self-criticism to realize exactly how little Amethytic, her direct superior, cares. Odds are she won't be going anywhere anytime soon.
