Excalibur

Excalibur got his name from the tattered pages of an ancient book. He has no idea what it means or where it came from, only that the original text was very very old. The pages were so damaged that the word "Excalibur" was all that could be made out. He cherishes that book to this day, occasionally mentioning that it's all he has left to remember his former clan by.

When he joined the temple, he was given the chance to change his name but he refused. He feels like his name is an important part of his personal identity and isn't interested in changing it, at least for now.


Excalibur is the primary protector and guardian of the temple. He spends most of his time patrolling around the entrance and greeting visitors. Despite his intimidating stature and often intense demeanor, he is very friendly and does his best to always be kind. His skill with a sword is unmatched.


No one knows much about Excalibur's past. He rarely talks about his time before joining the temple and it's often assumed this is because it was a difficult period in his life. He has suggested that something awful may have happened to his former clan, but no one knows for sure as he's never confirmed or denied it.
