A nature dragon, Istasha felt that her life could do with a dash of magic. She put the word out in her birth flight that she was looking to move to the Starfall Isles and soon enough Elior heard about a Nature Alchemist looking to join an Arcane Flight and, following a gut feeling, invited her to join the clan. Istasha quickly made herself at home in R'lyeh, absolutely loving the magic-soaked land and curiosity of the dragons around her. She doesn’t have any enemies in the clan, but she doesn’t exactly have close friends. While indubitably brilliant she fits the idea of a mad scientist and doesn’t have the best social skills and can be hard to get along with. This does not bother her since she is ‘mated to her work’. Despite this, she loves her clan and will jump to its defense or the defense of any dragon in it and she knows that any dragon in the clan would defend her. She loves to come up with wild new experiments and things the occasional explosion is hilarious. She claims that they are ‘necessary and for science’. Her neighbors, the Clan Astronomer and Clan Healer, don’t exactly agree with this policy. Her placement between them is not accidental, no one wants to deal with grumpy Imperials and Seven’s Disapproving Healer Frown can cow anyone. Her experiments can get out of hand sometimes because she is honestly not great at considering consequences and tends to get wrapped up in individual experiments to the point where she will forget to eat. Aylith has told her more than once tone things down a little, but despite being a little intimidated by the Matriarch, she hasn’t restricted her experiments by much. |
