Ingrid
"Welcome to the Cirsium Bazaar. What are you looking for? Wares, jobs? We have all sorts of offerings here, so take your time."

Hostess
Name: Ingrid ??? (will think of a surname eventually)
(Human) Age: 32.
Orientation: Aromantic, Bisexual.
Mate: None.
Children: None.
Theme: ???
Nativeworlder or Otherworlder: Otherworlder.

(to be trained to level 15; scrapper.)

Powers:
(Elements in Otherworld: Life/Water.)

- Life giving smoke; smells like apricot flowers and makes her smell like them too, since it congregates around her and courses through her body. Makes her effectively immortal unless wet, and even wet, it imbues the water around her with enough magic to do the same thing. And her sweat naturally holds the power, so it renews itself. Basically natural regeneration.
- Pain tolerance; being in a state between life and death has basically made her reaction to any sort of pain very mild. Helped by the smoke, which ensures any injuries are a thing of the past very fast.
- Combat experience; she's still learning, but the head of the mercenary band that works for her personally trains her.

Power Level
Low Potential (3): The priestess has read the bones and sees weakness. This child struggles to connect with their deity, limiting the amount of power and livelihood they will have.

Bio
One day, Ingrid was tending to her Bazaar in another world; it was like any other day before opening to the public, really. Shopkeepers began to set up their stores, the guild began to pin some new missions to the wall, and it was perfectly normal. They had a half hour to open, and all of a sudden Ingrid and her coworkers were transported into another world. To say that this was an interesting start to the day would be a gross understatement--it was after a little bit of exploring that they found the rotting carcass of a guardian, and Ingrid's magic steadily roused the creature from it's slumber.

It was there that they learned what had happened to this land. The inhabitants had been struck a rather large blow from an assassin that caused some to scatter; those that were left had been attacked by a green skydancer, who used the creature before them to finish off what remained. Leviathan, the creature called itself, managed to end the skydancer before she got too comfortable in her position. Needless to say, it didn't give Ingrid too many answers in regards to what had happened to them, but she decided that they would all make the most of it. Ingrid decided to set up her services here as well, to the dragons who could use it.

Ingrid herself is a dignified woman, who definitely has an air of haughtiness to her. She keeps track of everything that happens in the bazaar, and usually serves as a greeter to those who first come in; she'll get them situated and see them off, and make sure they're well tended to. Ingrid always places the guest's satisfaction over her own feelings, but at the same time she places the wellbeing of her workers above even them. She does her best to keep polite, but she's got mercenaries for a reason--anyone who wants to scrap will be given a fight, and a swift boot out if needed.

Ingrid's own origins are a bit of an enigma, really; as the woman who leads the bazaar, no one ever really asks about them. Her origins trace back to a land known as Eluvies, in truth; a place much like Orion Valley, in that very few people speak it's name outside of historians. Ingrid's true role is as a priestess to the goddess of the water, a vessel by which to channel her power through. However, a catastrophe occurred when the goddess herself became corrupted. The water slowly turned into thick sludge, and suffocated those of Eluvies who were unable to make it out in time.

Ingrid remembers such things all too well, even if she hasn't the faintest clue what caused such a thing. Her role as the bazaar owner is mostly to keep an eye on the door to Eluvies, to ensure no one opens it ever again. Not until they know how to combat what lays within.
