Aminar did not hatch from an egg. She was never a hatchling, never a child. She created, fully formed and mature, through a combination of magic and science that should never have been so badly perverted. Because she was not created for the simple joy of creation. She was not created because someone wished to bring her to life. She was created to serve. To be a tool, a drudge, and slave. She was rescued. By her mother. Or at least, the dragon whose DNA was stolen to create her. Sloan didn't know what had been done with her stolen blood until she found the Institute where the Synths were created and enslaved. It only took her a single day to wipe the entire area off the map, such was her fury and her power. She took with her all the Synths--she call them her children--that she could carry, and brought them to a place of safety. A Water clan that resided deep beneath the waves of the Sea of a Thousand Currents, far from the land of Light where they had been born and abused. Not all of them made it out alive. Their masters didn't take too kindly to their property being 'stolen'. But Aminar did, and she will never forget, and she will never forgive. A part of her wishes she could stay in the Timekeeper's Enclave forever, stay within the tunnel walls that offer her such safety and peace. But she knows that the ones who did this to her are out there somewhere, somehow. And she cannot rest until she knows that the world is safe from their kind of evil once and for all. So she trained herself, to fight, to defend. She became strong, stronger than her creators would ever have thought possible, stronger than they would ever have allowed. Some part of her wishes she could stay, but she knows she needs to leave. She doesn't know where she'll go, what she'll do. But she will be watching, and wary, and ready.
