Maestro

It's not that Maestro is incapable of making any friends or friendly acquaintances- it's that he'd sooner isolate himself from dragonkind than subject himself to its contagious stupidity. With an attitude as haughty as his, it's any wonder that the clan tolerates his presence at all. Nearly every word from his mouth is snide, every compliment patronizing, and no dragon- not even the matriarch- is above his condescension.

He is, unfortunately, useful enough to warrant keeping around. His knowledge of item appraisal and shrewd salesmanship know-how is unparallelled, and he just so happens to fulfill a very vital and very necessary role in the clan that no other dragon will suffer. Twice a week, Maestro heads down to the trading post to peddle off items from the clan's hoard and to purchase requested items. He may be insufferable, but he isn't untrustworthy- it's Maestro that keeps track of the gold in the clan's treasury, and it's a task that he is rather fanatical about.
