It was a glorious battle against the honorable Rynrotha. She Anticipated my every move. But! I was calm. I bide my time for she was strong, quick, and agile! She's definitely faced more monsters than I. All I could do was Meditate and hope for the best, focusing my mana til it whipped my fur and clawed the ground around me. And for one moment, all I could see was shimmering gold.
The world blurred as we clashed, claws and wings dancing to a brutal song. Our hearts pounding like drums of war. And finally in our last exchange, which should have instantly felled me and award her the victory, I was miraculously saved! I clung to but a sliver of life and after a moments hesitation, my scales shivered as I cast the last blow.
Alas, victory is bittersweet. I know not what these battles do for my clan. No treasure, rank, or glory awaited us as promised, just a strange dragon asking us if we'd like to continue. Continue on an endless cycle of Shreds and Contusions. No rhyme or reason to it at all lest the thrill. We parted ways with our worthy foes whom disappeared into my faded memories as most dragons do. But if ever our paths shall cross again, I most certainly would smell a friendship. :)
-6/11/13 Went from 13k to ~72k(tehpain~!) to 323t, I'll never get my spiral at this rate, but I'm happy xD
