Biography
Sakoi was sent to the Neverdark by her father to train under Jarvarax's councilors. It was an opportunity beyond what she had ever hoped for. Her small clan lacks solid leadership structure, but it is beginning to emerge and Sakoi wants to be a part of it. She wants that power.
Payax taught her to see through the illusion of lies and how to lie without being seen herself.
Sulkris tried to show her the power that comes with dark magic, but Sakoi did not want that kind of power. Her quest for knowledge would not go down such a path.
Nysriel would not give her the time of day despite Sakoi pushing to understand how the fae saw snatches of the future. "You wouldn't understand," Nysriel would say.
Hezavur showed her that laughter and kindness are a hallmark of a good leader.
Lorziros advised her to never rush any decision, no matter how much pressure is being applied from her clanmates, and to always seek out answers among books.
Qidrith gave her tips on what to wear and what would look fabulous with Sakoi's purple hide -or at least, what Qidrith thought was best, Sakoi didn't get much say in the matter.
While Sakoi was disappointed at the lack of great insight from the councilors of the Neverdark, there was no denying what small guidance they could offer. In the end it was Suvyre who offered the one piece of advice that will forever stick with her. "A good leader grows into their title, do not blindly follow what others say. What may work for them could be disastrous for you."
Sakoi returned home with much to think about, but feeling confident that helping her clan was within her reach.
