Hune had always been a quiet hatchling. Prefering to study instead of playing or fighting, she was often the subject of taunting and bullying from her fellow hatchlings, and even some adults. As her studies and intelligence grew, so did the mental torture she suffered. Eventually, Hune gathered her meager belongings, and fled her clan. After traveling for months, searching for a new home, she was on the verge of giving up and just settling for the life of a loner; a dragon without a clan. Of course, this path would have surely killed her, as she was an intellectual, not a fighter. ྿ It was a cold, autumn day that she was found by Orabella and her patrol. Tired and sick, she was carried from her small hole in the ground and into a warm, welcoming cave. After being healed and counsulled by Vevina, the clan healer, Hune met Hellweeper. She knew immediately that this was a dragon that was not to be trifled with, as evidenced by her scars and sharp claws. Hellweeper was silent as they met, instead choosing to listen and judge as she told her story. Once she was done, Hune was shocked when the scarred leader asked that she stay with the small clan, to put her knowledge to use, to help others. So, when spring came again, Hune adorned her ambassadors tome and smiled. |
