{ Apothecary | He/Him | Gay } Morgan hails from a nomadic band of merchants, renowned in equal parts for their frugality and their eccentricity. One of his fathers was a skilled healer, while the other excelled in the study of plants and animals. Together, they formed a formidable duo, and Morgan learned each of their trades from an early age. A natural interest in medicine and a knack for gathering saw him rise quickly among his peers as an accomplished apothecary. What made him settle down, not even he can say. The troupe passed through Feldspar territory one chilly late-winter morning, and something about the place spoke to him. The mountains were abundant with a wide variety of ingredients he had never worked with; suddenly, inexplicably, he found himself desperate to sink his teeth into a new challenge. When he noted the clan’s lack of a dedicated apothecary, his decision was made. There was a niche for him here and a sense of newness he craved—what else could he do but follow his heart? There is more to his story than he is willing to tell, but only the founders and his birth clan know the whole of it. His clanmates speculate that it may have something to do with why he hides his eyes beneath violet cloth. It is through Morgan that much of the clan’s medicine (and poisons) is distributed. He provides the local hospital with a monthly supply, and sells out of his own shop to anyone with enough coin to satisfy his ravenous wallet. Morgan is no healer, but his knowledge of medicine is unmatched, even by Isaiah. Additionally, he serves as a strong tie to his birth clan, who now consider themselves allied with Clan Feldspar through Morgan's presence there. It is said that never is the clan more lively than when Morgan's family blows into town; he stays up late into the evening with them, telling stories of his new life. code by Diamondbacked |
