Rubellite, the wise leader, never wavering in his loyalty to not only the clan, but to himself and who he is. He had dreams as a youngling to become a master sculptor, and moved to Earth to be with the clay and the stone. He was found by an aggressive wildclaw, obsidian by scale and by heart. Vicious he was, but he brought Rubellite to his clan, run solely with brutal tyranny. Rubellite was appalled, and found himself consistently challenging the wildclaw in his decisions, learning lessons with claw marks and scars. Despite this, the wildclaw took a liking to the imperial, soon growing too large to be bullied by the evil leader. He became deputy, second in command, as the leader would be gone for months at a time. One time, many years ago, he never came back, and Rubellite has assumed position as leader, with no complaint from the rest of the clan. He finds joy in bringing them solace from the dark tyrant, and fears not the return of him. He is strong, and brave, and will not back down from his place now, he alone can bear the burden of the clan, he alone can prevent the wildclaw from returning, if he does. While his dreams of becoming an artist were somewhat trampled, Rubellite will occasionally create small statues out of clay and offer them to neighboring clans. They are appraised and traded and purchased, giving Rubellite a sense of accomplishment despite his experience with the wildclaw leader before him. |
