Nuglug has buttwings because he use to be a Coatl. A young a curious coatl, promising and humble, who accidentally got a bit to close to the bubbling brew his dad was making, turning the boy into a Bogsneak. Afraid and confused, Nuglugs mother chased him out of their lair and laid a new path for him; The path of leadership. Nuglug is the leader of the Twisted Roots clan, a clan of dragons that have become estranged from their past and have taken up a new calling of science. Nuglug acted as the adviser for the older leader of the clan, and when she died he took up the mantle as the leader. Apprehensive and distrusting to most, Nuglug isn't a very social dragon. He rathers sit by himself and research than go out with others and be social. He busies himself with tasks that could remain undone and tries to keep his clan safe and sound, though he can't help if a messy, young and lost hatchling thaws his icy cold heart. Physically doesn't look like one that commands respect, his posture is often slouched and his limbs are gangly, but dragons shouldn't be fooled as he does pose a mighty challenge to anyone willing to test him. |

A studied and learned magic user, Nuglug uses his powers to further his alchemic studies and isn't a confrontational leader. He would, however, do anything to secure the future of his clan, even if that means making some unlikely alliances. He leads his clan all throughout sorienth, harvesting materials and sight seeing, as well as picking up stragglers along the way. Someone could describe Nuglug as a bit of a control freak, as he is very good at keeping tabs on his members and often panics if something goes wrong. |
