Samir is an overly cheery and excitable dragon, a fan of working on alchemy and a lover of new discovery. He loves teaching younger dragons, and has taken on a role as such within the clan, though he tends to be the first to leap for any sort of impulse buy and dislikes the fairgrounds, stating he doesn't have the patience for the games. His own child-like nature serves him well when tending to the hatchlings. He ends up doing more hatchling care than science, mostly because of Kokiri feeling that it is more appropriate for the princess's consort. He's friends with Sora and Jonic, as well as helping hatchlings alongside Seraphina a lot.
