It was a dark day in the Shrieking Wilds of The Viridian Labyrinth, a type of day that spelled trouble for all. The trouble began when a group of Wildclaw from the Wandering Contagion invaded, eager to cause trouble for the weaker Wildclaw's of the Shrieking Wild and to steal the eggs of their enemy. The battle broke out between the two clans as the Viridian Labyrinth Clans fought back. The battle was a terrible one, one that pit the two Clans against one another and left little room for regrets.

A dark red Wildclaw found herself outmatched by a highly decorated Viridian Dragon and as his claws tore into the flesh of her leg she wondered if she would ever run across the Abiding Boneyard again, hunting with her Clanmates. She had lost this battle, she closed her eyes trying to picture the glow of the Wyrmwound as she waited to feel the other Wildclaw end her life.

It never came. After a few moments of waiting in silence and submission she opened her eyes to see a truly frightening sight. A golden beast was throwing dragons around as the Wildclaw's wisely backed up. This beast was not to be trifled with.

It took the injured wildclaw a moment to realize that she and her enemy had intruded on some dragons lair and now the Goldenbeast and the Coatl on the back of the beast were defending their territory. The Goldenbeast knocked several Wildclaw's aside as the green coatl slid off the defender's back and faced down the red Wildclaw who had intruded the farthest into his territory.

For a moment, the dragon thought that this would be her end. Instead, the coatl had spotted Theiler's bag which already had a pair of eggs inside it. The dragon scooped up one of the eggs and crooned out a high, excited note as the Goldenbeast melted away to a small golden rabbit.



The excited noises continued and Thieler soon found herself swept back into a chair to rest while the Coatl and the annoyed rabbit tended to the egg. The egg was an important find for the dragon it seemed and Thieler was in no position to complain about how she was being treated. The rabbit even took care of her wound for her by bringing her herbs and a wrap.

As the Wildclaw fixed her leg, she watched the Coatl. He seemed to lack the basic communication skills that some Coatl's could do but he was crooning to the hatchling inside the egg happily, as if he was telling the child inside he was excited to meet them.

It was the first time the Wildclaw felt a sense of awe fill her as she watched the Coatl practically sing in his native tongue to the unhatched dragon. Then she noticed the bunny was on high alert, watching as another dragon dove out. The coatl himself didn't seem to notice as the bunny proceeded to kick the other wildclaw right on the snoot, knocking it back several yards into a tree without turning into a goldenbeast.

Thieler choked on a laugh as she watched the other wildclaw run off and then looked at the rabbit. He had to put up with a clueless owner... well, until her wounds healed she could help him look after the fool of a coatl.
